The Stoodups!

Originally formed as a straight-ahead rockabilly outfit, The Stoodups! quickly evolved into an eight-piece jump blues and swing powerhouse complete with a full horn section and a reputation for explosive live performances. What began with greased-back grit and upright bass swagger grew into a brassy, high-octane show band built for packed dance floors and bright stage lights.

Up and down the West Coast, The Stoodups! made their name through relentless touring and unapologetic stage spectacle, sharing bills with artists such as the Cherry Poppin’ Daddies, Big Sandy, and Head Cat (featuring Lemmy of Motörhead). The band recorded in Burbank, California at Ecco-Fonic Records with Deke Dickerson, with sessions that also featured rockabilly icon Devil Doll, capturing the raw energy that defined their live show.

Big. Loud. Flashy. The Stoodups! were built for the stage.
